
Recently several professors from out Adult and Continuing Education program spent several days in Charleston, South Carolina at the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education Conference. As presenters for the conference they covered issues as diverse as removing barriers for low resource adult learners, the implications of culture on contemporary adult learning, how adult learners construct knowledge in culture and social foundations in formal settings and the impact of combat experience on veteran students in adult learning environments.
