As President of Education Graduate Student Organization (EGSO), I wanted to let you know about a special program coming up next week for graduate students. It is a presentation from Angela Hayes of the Career and Employment Services office about preparing CV’s, professional long range planning, and other job related activities her office provides. The great thing is that students do not have to wait until their last semester to start working with CES, so this talk will be applicable to all students. The presentation will be held on Wednesday, January 30th at 3:30 CST in Room 021 of Bluemont. One of the exciting things we have been working on in EGSO is that this event will also be available online through Adobe Connect. So distance students and others will be able to tune in and participate with questions as well through the chat function. The url is http://connect.ksre.ksu.edu/egso. In addition, we hope to have a copy on our website for viewing at a later date. This will be a great event for all graduate students and so we would like your help in inviting them to attend in one form or fashion. Attached is the flyer we are using for the event with a QR code that goes directly to the Adobe Connect meeting. And feel free to attend yourself if you would like to know more. Thank you for all that you do for our students. We could not be the great student body we are without your support and guidance. Have a great week and thank you in advance with helping to spread the word about the event next Wednesday.Sincerely,
